ArtLab J Youth
Creation Intensive
Ages: 13-15 INT, 16-18 ADV
ArtLab J Youth Creation Intensive will allow young dancers the opportunity to experience building a dance piece with a working professional artist. This program will equip participants with tools for creating their own choreography, as well as guidance on how to structure and create a dance, all while positively challenging their artistic abilities.
The piece created during this weekend-long workshop will have the wonderful opportunity to be performed at the renowned Detroit Dance City Festival in September. Students will experience performing at a major festival while also gaining exposure to various dance genres and industry professionals.
